My accomplishments in marketing and examples

From an unknown company to a visible international market player

The initial task was to strengthen the position of a real estate consultation company in the local market (Latvia) – from a little-known firm to a professional and recognized company in the field it operates. After this challenge was successfully completed, the geographical scope of the marketing activities was extended – first to the other Baltic States and then to Europe. As a separate achievement I would like to mention the excellent visibility that the company acquired on an international scale, becoming more successful than companies of the most developed countries of the world in this field. Trade and sales promotion

I have been planning and implementing regular shopping centre campaigns in the following product categories: clothing, footwear and foodstuffs – be it for shopping centres, separate chains or brands. I have implemented regular (new collection, sales, holidays, loyalty) and special campaigns for shopping centres. The main achievement is successful work at balanced budget, facilities, aims and interests of owners and tenants. Example pictures. Example video. |
Creation of new business objects

In Latvia, no doubt, trade has been growing rapidly. Certainly, shopping mall developers or investors do not do everything by themselves. To attract tenants and customer flows, marketing plays an ever growing role in the implementation of such projects. Marketing is present everywhere – from an idea about a shopping mall until its implementation, opening and daily operation. It is quite similar also with creation of other business objects. Hotels and tourism industry works to attract money to Latvia
|
Tourism industry is active in attracting foreign tourist flows to Latvia, but in parallel, support from state institutions is also necessary to promote the demand for tourism services and their visibility. To remind about the importance of tourism industry and the role that the tourism representations abroad play to attract tourist flows to Latvia, professionals in this field stressed the need to preserve them. Planning and starting to implement a wide information and awareness campaign about banking services
|
To improve awareness and understanding about banking services among general population, a campaign was started to inform about the possibilities which are available to everyone but are little used so far – just because we do not know or do not have time. Example. |
Preparing of regular and commissioned market reviews (analytical, research, statistical)
|
Depending on the nature of the task (awareness raising among clients and promotion of loyalty, market research, decision on investing in a market or broadening activities), I have participated or been responsible for research and analysis of finance, securities, banking, real estate, retail trade and construction market or of specific companies operating there. |
Managing change
|
An experience to manage (from a marketing angle) changes in ownership or management of a company. An experience to manage the so-called “company re-branding” (name and image change of a company). An experience to change marketing accents in the operation of a company, when external economic circumstances vary. |
Charity
|
Everybody has their ups and downs, there are very important and less important things in our lives – without which we or some people just can not be. Therefore, one has to search for soul-mates, cooperate or just look for some warm heart. Yes, marketing people are first to dive also in this field – to look for the essence of an issue and to come with ideas or suggestions. For some, charity strengthens the image of their social responsibility, for others it helps to make the world a little bit better, because everyone has to do good deeds or help in good deeds. |
Acting in times of crisis

Those are the moments for which you can never prepare, but where you need immediate action irrespectively of the time, location and geography. There is no one to ask for advice, there is no place for mistakes. You can act just on your own experience and available resources. I do have some memorable experiences of this kind, where I have been able to offer durable solutions, but for obvious reasons I will not expand with concrete examples. |
Organizing and running events

I have organized and run events for children, who are undoubtedly the most responsive and energetic personalities in the world and who create an immense charge of energy and emotions in everyone. Team building events, where we usually discover in each other some talents we had no idea about and work on development of our inter-personal skills. Customer relations
|
Iustomer relations with any existing client are cheaper than attracting a new one. This is self-evident, but companies often forget it. Therefore, in marketing one has to remind about it and to act accordingly. |
Organizing tenders for marketing services
|
Any professional is knowledgeable in their field. For those who are starting up or broadening commercial activities, I have given advice and organized tenders to choose marketing services, to attract them and to work with them. |
Marketing coordination
|
This means planning and coordinating the company’s marketing, advertising and PR activities, planning and implementing marketing projects, coordinating the cooperation with marketing agencies and media, analyzing and informing of results, working with clients (from the development of a style-guide and launch of the web-page to daily routine operation). |
